Wednesday 19th February 2014
BrisBIM is really starting to get some momentum now with 180 industry professionals attending the last gathering. It was our first themed event with a focus on BIM in Construction. There was a great range of speakers on the night:
Arrive from 5:00pm
5:30pm – Intro & Announcements
5:40pm – BIM for Construction in the Developing World, Adam Sheather (GHD)
6:00pm – 4D Workflows and What’s Missing, Peter Ayre (Lend Lease)
6:20pm – The Road to BIM – the John Holland journey so far, Donald Cameron & Andrew Mattiske (John Holland)
6:40pm – Contractors need models they can understand, use and trust, Paul Nunn (CSI Global Services)
7:00pm – Autodesk BIM 360 Field Demo, Daniel Smith (A2K)
7:20pm – Networking with Drinks & Light Snacks
Some of the speakers have provided us with a PDF of their PowerPoint presentation but due to commercially sensitive content featuring heavily in several presentations we are only able to provide access to a couple of edited PDFs. I guess this really is a case of come along on the night or miss out on the great content!
Thank you to the speakers and the event sponsor:
and not forgetting the venue provider:
