For those who missed it, the fourth BrisBIM Gathering was a great evening of stimulating presentations and lively networking. With well over 100 attendees, it was a great event. The programme consisted of:
5:30pm – Intro & Announcements
5:35pm – A Word from the Sponsor, Will Yandell, (Union Square)
5:40pm – Case Study: Sunshine Coast Public University Hospital, Caitlin Hintz, (Mitchell Brandtman)
6:00pm – Efficiency in the Steel Supply Chain using Integrated Project Delivery, Vince Williams, (McVeigh)
6:20pm – NEW EFFICIENCIES: Leveraging Large, Accurate Laser Scans from a Built-Environment and BIM Service-Provider Perspective, Derek Van Tonder (Euclideon PTY LTD)
6:40pm – Revit for Presentation, Katia Gard, (The Buchan Group)
7:00pm – Networking with Drinks & Light Snacks
Some of the speakers were kind enough to provide PDFs of their presentations which we have made available for download below. Unfortunately some of the presentations couldn’t be made available for download as they contained commercially sensitive material (sorry, you had to be there!).
Note: this video is not from the BrisBIM presentation (which included viewing a point cloud of the QUT venue captured by FYFE) but showcases the product demonstrated at the event.
Thank you to the speakers and the event sponsor:
and not forgetting the venue provider:
