April 2017 BrisBIM Gathering – Presentation PDFs

April’s BrisBIM gathering attracted around 170 industry professionals. There were some great presentations on BIM in infrastructure and computational design, including the relaunch of the Brisbane Computational Design Group.

At our February event Andrew Curthoys from the Queensland Government announced that the Deputy Premier, Minister for Transport and Minister for Infrastructure and Planning, recently approved the release of the Building Information Modelling – draft policy and principles for Queensland document. Please download it from the following link: https://haveyoursay.dilgp.qld.gov.au/bim. They were seeking feedback from industry, government and interested parties, which closed on 21 April 2017. During the forum session we presented BrisBIM’s response to this request, reviewing our consolidated feedback, which was a collaborative community effort. Our response to the government, which has been formally submitted, is available for download.
